P « i Essex Hall was set up as a twenty-three hour quiet dorm, but quickly adapted to the growing needs of fun and recrea tion. In other words we were not as we seemed. W e proved this at fall weekend by ousting defending cham p ions C u rri er right off the throne. W e also participated in other activi ties, like saran-wrap the smallest car, flood the hall and trash the lounge. But, let it not be forgotten that we carried ourselves with pride, even through the two feet of snow on the quad during the lovely months of December and Janu ary.
