The brothers of Tau Kappa Beta experienced a very eventful and joyous year. A complete re decoration of the living room including a new rug and furniture was the first project under taken. After two well attended smokers, which introduced freshmen to fraternal brotherhood, 20 pledges completed formal initiation. The Christmas Cotillion week-end was high lighted for the members by winning the award for having the best decorated dorm. Besides having lights and evergreens decorating the house, a reindeer hitched to a sleigh full of presents was approaching the front of the house. Harriman House was also the scene of a faculty cocktail party during this weekend. Last May in co-sponsorship with Beta Alpha Lambda, the fraternity put on the Spring Week end, with \Greek Weekend\ as the theme. Each year the fraternity presents an annual award for the \Outstanding Student.\ Joe Rivers received this honor last spring at graduation. TAU KAPPA BETA The fraternity float on Mt. Pisgah won first prize in orig inality at the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival Parade.
