CIRCLE K Circle K this year, in trying to serve both school and community, has worked on several projects. Two blood drives, one in the spring and one in the fall, were sponsored by the members on behalf of the Red Cross. With the approach of the Thanksgiving sea son, the club made a canvass of all the local mer chants of Saranac Lake, Lake- Placid, and Cabiuls to solicit donations of fruits, nuts, and candies. When the collection was completed, individual boxes were pre pared for each of the patients at the Veterans' Hos pital in Tupper Lake. During the winter months a book drive was car ried out. Several boxes of books were contributed by the students and faculty, which were later sent to the \Books for Asian Students,\ sponsored by the Asian Foundation. The magazines collected for this drive were given to the various local hospitals. Circle K con tributed their share of committee workers for the va rious school fund ions. Members agree that Circle K has tried to be a worthwhile organization for the club members and they hope they have been able to make some small contribution to the school. FIRST ROW: W Bradt, N.
