K i f l e Shooting enthusiasts at PSC are lucky to have an indoor .22 caliber rifle range. The 50 foot range is conveniently located in the gym and this has made it possible for the team to practice at least three times a week or more. At the beginning of the rifle season the \Commander” gave classes on safety rules, knowing your gun and ammu nition, and on sighting. The team has been shooting the four positions, prone, sitting, kneeling, and offhand, find ing offhand the most difficult. Z e a m This year many postal matches were held. A postal match is when each team, under able supervision, shoots a round of targets, and sends in their scores to their o p ponents. The Rifle Team, under coaches Charlie. Kirche and Ed Woodward, had a very successful year. 1958 PSC OPP October 27— New York Aggies, Farmingdale, postal 1370 1223 1959 January 13— Malone Rifle Club 921 893 20 — Dundee Rifle Team, Canada ............................................................................... 923 875 21— West ..
