A C A N D I D V I E W O F T H E P R E S I D E N T . . . a n d Dr. Chester L. Buxton has been a very busy man this year. The work stacked on his desk- gives evidence that he was a man of little leisure. Not only was he busy in his office but in the classroom as well. Because of the shortage of teachers, he taught Economics dur­ ing the first semester. It isn't often that stu­ dents get the chance to discuss present and past economic problems with the president of their college, but our \prexy\ shows much versatility ill combining his many tasks as administrator with teaching. Our ordinarily placid \prexy” explodes his bottled-up enthusiasm for basketball and really gets behind the team in the tight spots. 8
