Pangman. T h e 625th is well known on the PSC campus for that figure stands for the Engineer Forestry Com­ pany— a unit that is a part of the active reserve pro­ gram of the U. S. Army. There are now 43 enlisted men and 5 officers, compared to 22 enlisted men and 3 officers of last year. At the present time every department of the College is represented. T h rough lectures and movies, instruction has been given on individual and crew served weapons. Last summer the unit was given more detailed training in a tw o week session at Camp Drum , New York. A n ­ other such training camp will be conducted this summer. D u r in g the year the company had 48 paid meet­ ings. At these meetings Captain Rutherford, the Commanding officer, Lieutenant Colonel Fullerton, Lieutenant Beane, Lieutenant W o lff, First Sergeant LaTour and Staff Sergeant Randall have lectured on basic military information. Reservists have made progress in map reading, demolition, bridging, cam­ ouflage, military courtesy, and similar subjects. Primarily, this extra curricular activity is strictly business but two social events, provided some pleas­ ure for the members. There was a Christmas party with refreshments as the main attraction and a \send- o f f ” party for the graduating members held at the Scout Camp on Osgood Pond. 49
