L. to R.« Edmund McLane, Stephen Resetar, Mr. Albert Eiss, Advisor; Laura Stevens, Myron Yanchisin. Absents Jim Gragg, Bob Bogie, and Dick Neale. SCIENCE CLUB M a y b e our Science Club didn't invent a secret w e a p o n or discover a cure for “sleepy- iti* in classes\ but it did act as the service organization of the College. This club did its work \only on request\. It was composed of students interested in science and w h o wished to develop their abilities through practical application. At the National Cross Country competition and other ski meets held this year the Science Club operated the public address system and thereby kept the spectators informed of the skiers progress. Did you see many movies at the college this year? You’ll remember that the club members turned movie operators every Thurs day night. Then for the Winter Carnival in February the club was in charge of the light ing facilities and communications system. Without the aid and co-operation of this new organization, man y of the necessary jobs relating to college sponsored activities would not have been accomplished so easily. 53
