v a r s i t y c l u b \'I’ RES CHIC\ green beanies issued by the Varsity Club were sported by enthusiastic P.S. freshmen last fall. The varsity men inaugurated rules for the frosh to obey, such as wearing of beanies on campus, courtesy to upper classmen and keeping off the grass. A \court of penalties\ tried all violators. To see three winsome co-eds strutting on the tables in the cafeteria at the peak of the lunch hour last fall was Co-eds Entertain, no hallucination for many punishments were meted out because of those troublesome hats. A round and square dance was held in the gym, late in the spring, to help pay for the cheerleader's sweaters and club T shirts. The club also originated the idea of selling the College windshield decals. 49
