m i GREETINGS FREDERICK G. LEASURE President On the occasion of the publication of the second yearbook, the St. Region, by the students of Paul Smith’s College of Arts and Sciences, I take great pleasure in extending “Sincere Greetings” to the student body, faculty, friends of the college, and to all who may read this record. During this, our second year, we have added materially to our educational programs and to our campus buildings. The erection of the Quonset Hut by the Board of Trustees has enabled us to carry on a greatly expanded Varsity, Physical Education and Recreational Program this year. The State and Federal governments have been most liberal in their gift of buildings, equipment, tools and furnishings for classroom and recreational purposes. In my opinion, the students have enjoyed a most successful year with their Winter Carnival, sports activities and intercollegiate games. Paul Smith’s College is becoming known throughout the state, and as it becomes well-established, it is my hope that the students who complete their initial training this year will look back to their college career at Paul Smith’s with great satisfaction and pride. Cordially yours, FREDERICK G. LEASURE, President P R E S I D E N T 10
